Other honors include being named a "Broadcast Pioneer" and featured in a permanent exhibit at the Chinese Historical Society of America; also featured in a 2007 exhibit on the history of Miss Chinatown USA; "Member of the Year" by the Chinese American Council; and "Honoree of the Year" by the Chinese Bar Association. She also sat on the Advisory Board of Stanford University's "Grade the News”, a media and ethics watchdog group and was a Board Member for the YMCA’s “Youth and Government” program, a model legislature program for high school students.
